Before and After!
Ok so there you have it all those months of preparing for Christmas and in one clean sweep it's over with. Go figure. Ahh well the kids had a great time opening their gifts and they got spoiled this year as we are doing much better and can afford the finer things in life.
I wanted to say so much more but as you can see it is 2am and I should be sleeping. In fact it's a miracle I am not passed out in bed like my husband but I believe I am now over-tired and can't sleep no matter how hard I try therefore am on here to keep my mind something to do so I can maybe at some point between now and 8am fall asleep.
Well I will write more in a couple days as my husband is leaving for a while with his job, and I wont have anything better to do then come on here and vent, cry, and share my moments alone with everyone who reads this or just talk to myself and know at least one person is listening (me).
Gnite and talk to you after my husband leaves on Tuesday (yes, this Tuesday before New Years. Don't remind me!)
Love to all and a belated Merry Xmas and an early Happy New Years!

What Tarot Card are You?
Which Tarot Card Are You?
You are the Justice card. Justice preserves the harmony of the world. Working with opposite forces, Justice does not seek to criticize or condemn but rather to accept. The idea behind the card justice is that opposite forces are complementary; you could not have good without evil or light without darkness. Justice's position is to make sure that if a thing is out of balance, the weight of its energy is realigned with its opposite force. This card is also a card of humour, for it is in pointing out contrary positions that humour is often found. The attitude that is found in the humourous person, being able to shift perspective and flow with an instinct, is important in the maintenance of good balance. Wedding Anniversary
Well let me share with you of how we met.
It was over yahoo chat room actually, yes love can happen online. Well we met and I guess he had been trying to get my attention for a long time by saying "hi" to me everytime I walked into a room. I guess I just thought he was a little odd as I had no clue who this person was that continued to say hello to me over and over again lol. Well finally there was one night when I must have been awefully bored and he asked me to check the lighting on his webcam. Silly me was feeling generous and felt like doing a good deed so I agreed. His lighting was all screwed up lol I still remember thinking, wow who is this guy. He had a goattee at the time and he was handsome as can be.
We started talking and talking and this went on for weeks. We hung out all the time we both barely slept at first as we wanted to spend every waking moment with each other. He would be online when I got home from work at night and I would stay up with him till he had to work in the morning.
The time came where we wanted to meet and I took the leap and flew to Ohio to meet him for 10 days it was heaven. We never left each others side. Before I got back we had decided that he would fly up to be with me as he wanted to get away from where he was and expand his wings. Well he came up two months after I came back and two months after that we was married.
It was a wonderful small wedding. It was my gf at the time as my bridesmaid, my dad, my mom, and a few ppl seeing it all from online. There was xmas decorations everywhere it was magical. Our reception we had a few more ppl and it was at my parents house, we drank, we laughed we cried it was wonderful.
Now here I sit 3yrs later alone and anxiously awaiting my husband to come home so I can bring him dinner and wish him a happy anniversary.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!!!
Love, Kathrin

An awesome fun site!
"Oh man!.. That's amazing! I was just learning about the coming decades in class!"
But then when my friend and I got to the part about the literature, Archibald stopped yelling. And the next day, Archibald's cousin told me that the reason Archibald was so freaked out was because he used to write a lot about literature. On weekends Archibald can be quite crazy like that, but he wants what is best for me...

Christmas and the meaning of it all?
Well the time of year is here again where all the ppl who don't want Christmas to mean something complain and make a big fuss over a holiday that has been around for centuries. Now I just recently heard on the news how one state (yes this was in the US) was no longer able to call their Christmas tree in the middle of the city just that. They now had to refer to it as a Holiday Tree. Are we kidding here....things are getting out of hand. Christmas is not what it used to be when I was a child. I mean when I was a kid we helped with decorations, we got a few presents that ment something and everyone sang and played together. Now its all bout how much you spend on your children, and the true meaning of Christmas is totally forgotten.
I am terribly upset about this as Christmas used to be my favorite time of year and I always wanted my kids to enjoy and love Christmas. But now it's all about novelty items and money. It never mattered how much I got for Christmas what mattered was that it came from the heart.
Now unless kids see the big price tag on something it doenst mean anything to them. Well I say parents around the world stand up and demand your children remember why Christmas is so special. Now I wanna share with you all the story of Christmas:
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about:
His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written: "'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'" Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
--Matthew 1:18 - 2:23 New International Version
So there you have it....perhaps not the same as in all the stories but this is from the New international Version of the Bible so bare with me. The story might be a little different but the facts are the same.
So this is what Christmas used to be...Oh and also I forgot to mention anyone notice the OC made up a new word....Christmukka? I personally am not sure if I approve of that..but let's hope it doesn't catch on and become a permanent thing. Not that I am against Hanukkah or anything but lets not basterize those two words just to make some fanatics happy.

Today was busy!
Well today was interesting I had quite the day. First we woke up late and I got my kids up and got them dressed. I actually was able to do Sammy's hair which if you knew my daughter you would realize what an adventure brushing her hair is. She let me brush her hair and braid it for once. I was so excited.
Then I started the breadmaker with a whole wheat loaf, I made jell-o and put it on a flat pan so the kids and I could make jell-o cut outs later on.
Sammy's home therapist came in today to go over some things we had planned and to also find out what assistance I could use at home to work with her some more. That lasted an hour or so. Then I went straight into the kitchen after I laid Jamie down for a nap.
I started making my world famous self created crockpot roast..I made the recipe myself it was so good. I will give you the recipe if you promise not to tell anyone lol.
Ok I take any kind of roast you wanna make...I spice it to taste and lock in the flavor by frying all the sides just enough to brown it.
I open a can of tomato soup, white wine, red wine vinegar and soy sauce..I mix it all together and add some more spices. I cut up an onion into small bits and throw it in as well and mix it all up so you get a nice amount of sauce.
I peel potatos and cut them into quarters. I place the roast in the bottom of the crockpot and put the potatos all around then I pour my mixture on top and turn it on for about 6hrs on high. And voila its done.
My husband swears by it and he's a picky eater its always gotta be tender and with lots of flavor. Try it and let me know what you think.
Also I love my breadmaker its my favorite appliance in the house..I love the smell of fresh bread baking. And the nice thing about it is that I can turn it on and leave it till its done and I have time to spend with my kids and get cleaning done when need be.
So that is what I did today. Enjoy

My First Entry November 30,2005
Well to tell you a bit about myself and my family. I have two beautiful children that are both my pride and joy (most days LOL j/k). Samantha 3 (turning 4 in April), James III 1 (turning 2 in June). I have a wonderful husband and we are celebrating our 3 yr Wedding Anniversary this Christmas but we have been together for 4yrs.
We met in the most interesting way, through yahoo chat room. Let's just say I was very hard to talk to as my husband tried several different attempts at getting my attention for months. Till one day I must have been bored and he asked me to check his webcam lighting and I agreed and that is when we started talking. Here we are married with two kids.
My husband works for an Oil Company here in Alberta making pretty good money so we are planning on buying a house this spring and getting out of this apartment. We miss the city life but you never know we might move to Edmonton sometime down the road.
Well that is it for now I guess I will be here most days and if not you know life has gotten me and I am in bed sleeping.
Love to all bloggers,
Kat
